Cast UK are supporting a heritage brand that is well established in its sector with the recruitment process of a Manufacturing Team Leader for their Oldham location. As the Manufacturing Team leader you will be responsible for developing personalised production operations and KPI's across a number of lines, with the ideal candidate having some experience within UV printing, embossing, labelling, printing, or sub laminating processes.

It would suit someone who has worked in a production/manufacturing/warehouse environment and feels they are ready for the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

• The ability to provide direction, support, and motivation to a team of warehouse operatives
• Man-manage specific activities relating to the production of personalised gifts and items within the operation to achieve operational Key Performance Indicators
• Use analytical information to make informed operational decisions
• Daily use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) to make informed operational decisions
• Ensure compliance to all legislative and company Health and Safety policies.
• Make sure all housekeeping protocols practised are adopted within the DC
• To ensure all internal communication practises are adopted with the DC
• Work alongside the opposite Team Leader who will be mainly focussed on the warehouse
• Provide cover in the absence of Operations Manager

Requirements:

• To offer a role model approach to all employees
• High Level man-management experience
• Must be able to remain rational under pressure
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
• Experience with all Health and Safety legislation
• Experience on a production manufacturing line
