Are you an established Production Planner with experience in Manufacturing / Engineering?

What will the role involve?

• Producing production plans using SAP/Excel on a weekly basis
• Maximise productivity through effective planning and monitoring performance of the production team
• Collaborating with other departments to capacity plan for each machine
• Produce completion plans to update all key stakeholders on progress
• Organise production orders and manage exceptions in order to prioritise orders for completion
• Create the production schedule based on resource and materials available
• Handle and input raw materials to assign to orders
• Work in line with all health and safety policies, including environmental and legal responsibilities

Ideal Skills & Experience
 

• Strong understanding of using SAP
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in production planning within a manufacturing or engineering business
• Ability to collaborate with key operational stakeholders
• Capable of problem solving and being resilient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
