Role Profile
Fantastic opportunity for those with an Engineering background passionate about leading projects for new product introduction, with the support of this fantastic manufacturing operation.
We are seeking engaging and enthusiastic individuals with wide-ranging experiences in production/assembly environments to be responsible for multiple projects overseeing the introduction of new products whilst ensuring methods of manufacturing are safe, efficient and repeatable.
Key Accountabilities
- Work as the middle point between production and R&D to resolve any design issues for new products beings introduced
- Responsible for design documentation such as bills of materials, routings, manufacturing control plans, etc
- Become fundamental cog in testing prototype working alongside Design and Test Engineering teams
- Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, test equipment and prototype parts are available
- Oversee numerous projects from brief to implementation
You will need
- Experience in Production/Assembly environments with the desire to be more office based
- Awareness of applying Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) techniques
- Proficient in CAD software
- Target driven - agree clear & challenging targets and ensure those deadlines are met
- Ability to prioritise workload and influence
