Role Profile
As a QC Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring all products within the organisation are manufactured in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards. Responsible for on-site Inspection and Quality Control Tests relevant to the product range.
Full training and development programme will be provided. Ideally previous QC experience and/or laboratory experience is preferred.
Daily responsibilities
Perform laboratory QC analysis and interpret results against specifications.
Produce Excel reports of quality data to control the release of final products
Routine cleaning of lab and equipment
Perform Raw Material Specification (RMS) checks on incoming material
Support IPQC at production as point of contact for all quality issues
Perform Final Random Inspection (FRI) checks on finished products
Use and calibrate lab testing equipment i.e., tensile & shear testers, analytical balance, calipers, micrometers etc.
Use MS Word & Excel to record findings and produce reports.
Undertake root cause analysis (RCA) using 5 why's and Ishikawa diagram
Support the timely conclusion of supplier and customer complaints through evidence gathering and the implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
Report quality issues to the HSEQ Manager and other relevant stakeholders
