Role Profile

My client based in the North Manchester area is looking to appoint an additional Shipping Co-ordinator to join their existing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate all international collections and shipments to/from a range of destinations globally
• Liaise with freight forwarders and hauliers to arrange shipments
• Produce relevant import and export documentation
• Work closely with colleagues from other departments to ensure that customers' orders are shipped on time
• Support with departmental reporting and general administration as required
• Run all necessary transactions on SAP

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Good working knowledge of import/export documentation and Incoterms
• Proven experience in a previous shipping role, either inhouse or for a freight forwarder
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Good systems knowledge, ideally with previous experience of SAP
