Role Profile
As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Talent and Training Manager for their AGGORA team. AGGORA is a leading provider of catering equipment solutions to the foodservice industry. They offer a complete portfolio of services, allowing clients to meet all their needs from one trusted provider.
The Talent and Training Manager will be responsible for approaching schools and colleges with a view to bring in more diverse trainee engineers and educate school leavers about our industry, and AGGORA's role within it. You will be a first line recruiter and liaison between colleges and AGGORA, and act as the first point of contact for potential trainees
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- To support the Service Director in the operational delivery of attracting and selecting talent within schools, technical colleges and UTCs across the UK.
- To organise and present marketing, and to maintain relationships with target schools, colleges, universities, and faculties.
- Planning and execution of early careers recruitment projects, including diversity initiatives and pipeline recruitment initiatives.
- Working in partnership with the Technical Training Manager, Technical Managers and Resource Manager to review the geographical requirement for Trainee Engineers within the business and canvass the colleges to fill the gaps where required.
- Liaising with the Technical Training Manager to ensure that milestones are achieved with each trainee and formulate a remedial action plan should it be required.
- Ability to "think outside the box" and to be proactive as they will need to communicate with people from all ages, genders and walks of life.
- Working closely and liaising with the Regional Technical Managers to ensure their trainees are achieving their benchmarked results.
- Developing a good relationship and understanding with your engineers, training team and Regional Managers.
- Assist with ensuring departmental and company KPIs are exceeded.
Experience
- Knowledge of the UK further/specialist education system
- Desire to help and nurture new talent
- Delivery of 1-1 and group training
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with external education providers.
