Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting a growing business with the recruitment process of a Transport Co-ordinator to be based at their operation based in Merseyside. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the Transport Planning as well as liaising with Customers, providing excellent Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the daily picks for the operation
- Plan the local delivery routes for the fleet and maximise capacity
- Manage the outside storage function
- Manage the pallet and parcel carriers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Managing a team of drivers and Providing briefs and debriefs for drivers
- Oversee the vehicle compliance and ensure the services are completed on time
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
- Previous experience of Transport Planning
- Good system knowledge
- Ability to lead a team of Drivers effectively
- Understanding of budget control would be advantageous
- Understanding of Health & Safety
