Transport Manager

£40,000 to £50,000 per annum
Are you ready to join a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service?? I am looking for a transportation and logistics expert to lead a fleet of drivers to success.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have a strong operational and food/beverages background to ensure customer service is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise the safe, efficient, transport distribution of products to its customer base from the NDC and transit sites.
- Ensure that vehicles are roadworthy, and drivers comply with traffic and driver' hours rules.
- Manage the transportation costs, reporting maintenance and repair needs for the fleet and equipment.
- Assess and maintain transport health and safety needs in the NDC and transit sites.
- Manage and develop the transit site teams towards the business objectives.
- Manage and optimize routes for best possible performance.
