Account Manager
£25,000 - 35,000 Salary + Uncapped commission + Company Car
Field based - Yorkshire Region
Role Profile
Are you a versatile, independent Account Manager based around East Anglia? - coming from a chemical, lubricant or automotive industry is desirable. Do you want the freedom to grow in a warm patch securing new business as well as maintaining existing relationships? A good knowledge of the chemical/AdBlue field would be an extreme advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers
- Develop business with existing and new clients
- Pioneer long-term customer relationships at all buyer levels
- Support your accounts to achieve customer satisfaction and sales targets
- Ensure delivery of volume, revenue and margin targets
- Implement tactical and startegic initiatives to achieve target
- Develop new accounts using structured and effective negotiation, presentation and preparation techniques
- Implement an Account Plan covering products, services packages, contracts, prices, credit terms and credit limits for new and exsisting customers
- Take responsibility for HSE issues
- Track and forecast key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or other relevant experience
- Some knowledge of the competiition. Understand their strengths and weaknesses, thereby, maximising opportunities and minimizing competitive vulnerabilities
- A good understanding of the changing AdBlue/SCR market
- The ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time whilst paying strict attention to detail
Client information
The company is a subsidiary of a multinational Chemical blending manufacturer, supplying automotive customers. The role is field based, with travel around the Yorkshire region to meet clients. 'Office from home' Friday.
Remuneration
Circa £25-35,000 + uncapped commission + company car
