THE ROLE
Our client is a leading worldwide manufacturer in specialised, high-performance non-metallic composite engineering materials and components, supplying a broad cross-section of industrial applications throughout the world.
You will report in to the Commercial and Purchasing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Commercial Officer will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Managing intellectual property, expanding protection, (patents, trademarks)
- Developing and implementing a contract review process
- Supporting the sales team by reviewing customers Terms and Conditions and contracts
- Implementing and managing a range of other processes and procedures
- Reviewing and administering contracts (legal, agency, distribution and consultancy)
- Monitoring and keeping updated rebates, commissions and consultancy fees
- Assessing and regularly reviewing the risk management process, legal obligations and other undertakings and take the appropriate actions
- Assisting with group insurance requirements
ESSENTIAL
- Commercial / Law / Business Degree qualification (2:1 or above)
- Proven experience preferably in an industrial environment
- Basic understanding of engineering
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Managerial skills suitable for running a product category with a large portion of autonomy
- A proven track record of securing orders through a proactive and confident approach
- Self-driven and motivated to exceed sales targets
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to translate technical information to customer benefits
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Technically aware in the flue gas filtration industry
- Be career-minded, hardworking and goal oriented with a great personality and confidence
- The ability to collaborate with multiple countries and colleagues
