Role Profile:

This fantastic opportunity is for the position of an Environment Health and Safety Advisor, ensuring all operations are in accordance with health and safety regulations and being an integral part of the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

As EHS Advisor, your responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Conduct audits and support the implementation of agreed EHS policies and procedures within op co.
  • Work with line managers to devise action plans to improve EHS performance within each site
  • Investigate EHS failures and ensure that remedial actions are implemented throughout the op co.
  • To review EHS data and support the implementation of recommendations for continuous improvement in performance
  • Provide EHS data were available to enable customers to meet their CR requirements
  • Ensure that EHS data is reported accurately and on a timely basis to meet internal reporting requirements.

Skills and Experiences:

We are searching for candidates who show great enthusiasm towards learning. Applicants who are relatively new to Health and Safety are welcome, as this role is accompanied with coaching and mentoring to bring you up to speed with the busy operations on site.

The successful applicant for this role will also demonstrate:

  • Strong organization and time management
  • Experience within warehouse, distribution sites
  • Experience with working in fast paced environments that include Forklifts and LGV's
  • Collaborative approach to solving problems and an ability to work well with others.
  • A desire to understand customer needs and adapt one's own practice; ensuring customer satisfaction is of the highest level.
  • ICT Skills including Microsoft Excel/Word
