Role Profile:

Our client is a market leading FMCG business located in East Lancashire. You will be responsible for ensuring all fabrics used for this leading manufacturer meet the desired quality standards, ensuring colour continuity and to guarantee that it is maintained throughout the product range and is long lasting. This is a fantastic role for someone who has a passion and a knowledge of fabrics and textiles. It is an excellent role and an even better business to be a part of.

Skills & Experience

  • Is responsible for working with overseas suppliers
  • Approving requests for colour approvals, fabric sample and test reports
  • Strongly communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring all products, requests and approvals are inline with PO shipment dates
  • Setting and maintaining colour standards
  • Ensuring colour continuity for all fabrics
  • Maintaining records of approval and traceability of all test reports
  • Working with overseas suppliers to test fabric requirements and quality control
  • Having an excellent understanding of textiles and different fabric types
  • Strong Excel skills
