Role Profile
Cast UK are currently supporting a growing Manufacturer with their recruitment process of a General Manager for their operation based in Cumbria. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site, as well as overseeing the Health & Safety and the Financial responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a busy Manufacturing operation
- Responsible for controlling the finance across the business
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Ensure employees are motivated and productive
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar level role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
