Role Profile

You will provide a comprehensive, professional and pragmatic generalist-HR support service to the South Region, in accordance with HR policies and the HR People Plan.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the business to enable you to work closely with managers providing guidance and advice on all aspects of employee relations including performance management, grievances, disciplinaries and absence cases.

You will be comfortable hitting the ground running and using your own initiative to drive HR cases forward to an appropriate resolution in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a confident and articulate HR Advisor with solid "hands-on" experience in a similar role. You'll be someone familiar working with ambiguity who is able to use information to see the bigger picture to HR queries. You will have high expectations about your own standard of work and that of your colleagues.

With an ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation in a positive and friendly manner your organised and methodical approach will help to support the HR Business Partners in HR matters / activities.

You will bring;

  • In-depth knowledge of HR Principles and Policies related to all employee relation matters
  • Proven HR experience working within a dynamic environment 
  • A high quality and attention to detail to all written work including letters and investigation reports
  • A self-motivated team player who is comfortable working remotely from the HR department whilst able to retain a central influence with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills along with the ability to translate data into meaningful conversations and actions for the business
