Interim IT Procurement Manager

Role Profile

Our Leeds based client is looking for an Interim Procurement Manager with a background in IT and software to join their existing team on a 6 month contract basis.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Reviewing existing software contracts and licences
  • Negotiating and agreeing robust contracts for the IT Software category
  • Identifying opportunities and delivering cost savings to the business
  • Establishing robust procurement processes and procedures for IT and software procurement

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • At least 5 years' experience in an IT Procurement role
  • Proven track record managing end to end tender processes and negotiating long term agreements with software providers
  • Excellent working knowlege of issues related to cybersecurity and software/data protection
  • CIPS or equivalent demonstrable experience
