Role Profile:
Our client is a leader in their field and one of the fastest growing businesses at the moment. They are looking for an Inventory Planner to join the team and add value straight away. You will have extensive experience of forecasting, planning and material distribution. My client is looking for a strong communicator who has a real drive and enthusiasm for their work. Joining a brilliant team at a fast growing company this is a real opportunity to join a thriving business. They are looking for someone who has come from an ecommerce background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the overall demand forecasts and stock flow
  • Review historical sales trends.
  • Gather, analyse and validate data, help run the S&OP Process
  • Develop forecast models, and evaluate forecast results on a weekly and monthly basis and report back to the Supply Chain Manager
  • Drive improvement in forecast accuracy
  • Identifying the impact projects will have on the Supply Chain
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with in Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to understand demand forecast drivers and dampers
  • Coordinate cross-functional analytical activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast models



Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a planning role for an ecommerce business
  • High level of proficiency in forecasting with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Excel experience
  • Proactive, 'can do' attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team and interact with all levels of the business with the forecast process
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, influence and manage others to deliver change and keep an environment positive
