Production Scheduler
Production Scheduler- Pharmaceutical
Location: Kent
Up to £40,000 + Strong Benefits
I have an exciting opportunity for a production scheduler to join leading Pharmaceutical company based in Kent. Reporting to the Master Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of customer focused, capacity and material feasible production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- To analyse the bulk and pack capacity requirements and provide recommendations to the Planning & Scheduling Manager to ensure demand and supply are balanced
- To liaise with Technical Services group to ensure that all trials and new business requirements are planned into the appropriate work-
centre respecting labour and equipment capacity. - To interface with purchasing, QC departments and the warehouse to ensure that materials are sampled and released on time to support
the bulk and pack production schedules where appropriate. - To maintain material master data views in SAP accurately
Key skills and experience required:
- High-profile individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in production planning and scheduling within a highly regulated industry
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or medical sectors is highly desirable
- Proficient user of SAP ERP
- A highly analytical individual with good problem-solving skills who can identify and resolve planning problems efficiently
- A good appreciation of Lean and Continuous Improvement
- A sound knowledge of cGMP
- Vast experience of manufacturing production scheduling of materials
