As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Rail Account Manager their AGGORA team covering the Manchester area within their Rail division. This is a new role in a sector that has huge potential for AGGORA hence they are now looking to recruit a highly driven candidate with the ability to maintain and develop new and existing relationships across the sector. The role will be office/field based and include travel across the network to customers. The Rail Account Manager will offer an unrivalled consultative approach to working with customers with a view to gaining trust and long-term business.

AGGORA Catering Solutions are looking for a brilliant Rail Account Manager to come and join the team. Working alongside the Technical Sales Director, this role will allow you the freedom to work independently with as much entrepreneurial spirit as you can muster. We are looking for someone who can serve as primary relationship owner maintaining and developing rail clients with their supply & service projects, developing, and maintaining long-term relationships with all stakeholders. The role will be a critical and senior part of the company's accounts structure, ensuring clients gain an excellent and long-term experience of AGGORA's services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in professional client relationship management, delivering consistent and professional advice and support
  • Manage all customer requirements from creation to delivery. Ensure that during the design & development process all requirements are implemented on products relevant to the customer. Build relationships and communicate regularly with customer to ensure all support requests are addressed
  • Perform internal validation testing of new project deliveries to ensure product compliance to certify customer requirements before delivering to the customer. Take ownership of any issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Drive client retention, renewals, upselling and satisfaction
  • A motivated, persuasive, and confident approach to review meetings and client analytics
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Good electrical / mechanical knowledge, ideally in the catering equipment or rail sector
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and reporting & how to apply this to continuous improvement strategies
  • A proven track record of technical account management including previous technical planning and solution design experience
  • Experience of managing, measuring and improving technical service delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders in Design, Purchasing and Engineering departments
  • Handle any service delivery issues and work through to a positive conclusion, using persuasion and negotiation
  • Work with Aggora service engineers to ensure technical reactive work is completed in a timely fashion ensuring client KPI's are met
  • Work with AGGORA sales to ensure alignment on project status and understand the impact of commercial demands.

Candidates are sought who have Significant experience in professional client relationship management, who can drive design quotes and project conversions. A solid background in the foodservice design & build industry and ideally in a sales or account management role is an essential. The ability to self-manage your time is critical as is the ability to always put the needs of the customer first. Being able to add value to customers is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value across multiple customers; both existing and new business.
