Role Profile

As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Sales Director for their AGGORA team covering. This role is to serve as the primary relationship owner, maintaining and developing top tier key client accounts. The role will be a critical and senior part of the company's senior leadership team and sales structure, ensuring clients gain an excellent and long-term experience of AGGORA's services.

AGGORA Catering Solutions are looking for a brilliant Sales Director to come and join the team. Working alongside the Managing Director, this role will allow you the freedom to work independently with as much entrepreneurial spirit as you can muster. We are looking for someone who can serve as primary relationship owner, maintaining and developing top tier key client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and grow revenue and margin across existing client base and sustainably add new customers into the technical business.
  • Attend review meetings with customers as when and where required in the UK. The role will involve UK wide travel and various overnights stays.
  • Ability to carry out company, technical and activity report presentations to various customers as required.
  • Handle any service delivery issues and work through to a positive conclusion, using persuasion and negotiation.
  • Work with AGGORA Service Director to ensure technical reactive work is completed in a timely fashion ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Able to use and understand specific data analytics and reporting for client reports and service appraisal.
  • Take the client brief for any potential project work and pass onto the ALP Projects Team.
  • Present new products, innovation and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Develop a team that cohesively works together, promotes motivation, job satisfaction and maximises their full potential.
  • Carry out annual performance reviews with direct reports.
  • Review, adjust & monitor team processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in day to day operations.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly status and results presentations to internal and external teams.
  • Actively manage the department's monthly, activity, forecasts and sales order pipeline to ensure the Finance Director receives accurate, reliable and on time data.
  • Submit activity and management reports as requested by the AGGORA FD & MD.
  • To be responsible for the management of the Commercial Team's performance levels and standards.
  • Commit to the continual improvement for self and team and show an awareness for the personal and professional development of direct reports.

Candidates are sought who have Significant experience in professional client relationship management, who can drive design quotes and project conversions. A solid background in the foodservice design & build industry and ideally in a sales management role is an essential. The ability to self-manage your time is critical as is the ability to always put the needs of the customer first. Being able to add value to customers is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value across multiple customers; both existing and new business. The successful candidate will have the ability to work to defined processes within industry regulations including CDM and have knowledge of shopfitting and design & build projects.
