Role Profile

As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Senior Account Manager their AGGORA team covering the Birmingham area. This is a purely new business role in a sector that has huge potential for Bunzl hence they are now looking to recruit a highly driven candidate with the ability to foster new relationships across the region. The role will be field based and include travel across the network to customers. The Senior Account Manager will offer an unrivalled consultative approach to working with customers with a view to gaining trust and long-term business.

AGGORA Catering Solutions are looking for a brilliant Senior Account Manager to come and join the team. Working alongside the Commercial Director, this role will allow you the freedom to work independently with as much entrepreneurial spirit as you can muster. We are looking for someone who can serve as primary relationship owner, maintaining and developing top tier key client accounts. The role will be a critical and senior part of the company's sales structure, ensuring clients gain an excellent and long-term experience of AGGORA's services within the Retail Projects Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee the offer and delivery of national account projects as a minimum in line with budgeted targets and in accordance with agreed timescales.
  • Utilise subcontractors, architects / designers as required to provide operationally sound layouts in accordance with various brand and / or client standards.
  • Attend site briefings with customers as when and where required in the UK. The role will involve UK wide travel and various overnights stays.
  • Oversee all projects with the department to ensure ALP provide a highly professional service to the customers satisfaction to ensure future repeat business.
  • Show effective man management skills to ensure each team member is contributing to the best of their abilities.
  • Empower the team to make effective decisions on a daily basis.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly status and results presentations to internal and external teams.

Candidates are sought who have Significant experience in professional client relationship management. A solid background in the foodservice design & build industry and ideally in a sales or account management role is an essential. The ability to self-manage your time is critical as is the ability to always put the needs of the customer first. Being able to add value to customers is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value across multiple customers; both existing and new business. The successful candidate will be someone who can focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
