Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Stock and Systems Manager , based in Worcester. As Stock and System Manager you'll manage and coordinate the day to day activities of the stock, admin and systems teams and their relationships with other teams on site and brand customers, ensuring optimum operational performance is delivered and maintained.The hours of work will predominately Monday to Friday but Saturdays maybe needed at adhoc times.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring the timely and efficient resolution of all stock anomalies - reviewing, analysing and reporting as required
• Identifying procedural non-compliance within the warehouse operations, resolving as necessary
• Working with the Operations Manager to improve the site error rate
• Perpetual inventory checks - establishing a cycle count schedule and ensuring adherence
• Managing the planning, execution and reconciliation of the bi-annual stock takes, ensuring continuous improvement in gross and net results
• Producing detailed reporting to show the departments performance to objectives as well as what actions were involved in any improvements
• Providing and updating all procedural documentation required in the warehouse
• Liaising with the system supplier and Wolseley IT team to ensure adequate WMS support
• Instigating and implementing corrective action and escalation process following equipment hardware failure reports

Skills & Experience

My client is looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within a logistics enviroment and have a good expierence of both Stock and system management.
