Role Profile
A busy manufacturing company in Spalding is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Manager to support short- and long-term growth plans. This role will suit an experienced Supply Chain Manager with end-to-end supply chain experience, who is confident in troubleshooting and improving planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the key day to day activities of the Material Planning and supply chain teams
- Inventory Management
- Liaising between Sales, Production and Warehouse teams to achieve smooth execution of the production plan and ensure customer orders are met on time and in full
- Implementing process improvements to address inefficiencies in production scheduling and material planning procedures
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Expertise in Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Inventory Planning and S&OP
- Excellent Excel skills and good analytical ability
- Strong ERP system experience, ideally SAP but not essential
- Proven stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Passion for continuous improvements and process efficiencies
