Role Profile

Our client, a market leading and innovative supplier in the Renewable Energy sector, is looking to appoint a Supply Chain / Stock Analyst to join their growing head office team based in the South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, confident and enthusiastic individual with strong Excel / data analysis skills and experience in a similar role to join a rapidly growing business that can offer further development opportunities. Joining a close-knit and down to earth team, this is a fast-paced role where you will play a key part in all stock control related activities, ensuring customer needs are met. Having recently seen rapid expansion, this is a great opportunity to make your mark in a new role and assist in driving this already hugely successful business further forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Updating the stock management file on a daily basis
  • Liaising with the Order Processing team in regards to stock movement requests
  • Producing customer availability reports on a daily basis
  • Home delivery reports and stock management on a daily basis
  • Overstock / discontinued reporting on a weekly basis
  • Producing stock level reports for the Commercial Team several times per week
  • Full supplier management of the 3rdparty supplier, including the management of inventory, placement of new stock orders and delivery booking / rebooking
  • Taking general stock enquires from the Sales Team, advising on lead-time, availability, slow moving and very slow-moving stock etc.
  • Assisting other business sectors with stock requests when required

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Advanced Excel skills, this position requires you to be a 'spreadsheet whiz'
  • Experience in a similar stock control role is essential
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and confident with excellent communication skills
  • Can cope with the pressures of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to stock related issues
  • Team player who can work on own initiative
  • Able to forge strong working relationships internally / externally
