A dynamic and tenacious procurement professional who has risen through the ranks in just five years from their degree programme in a trainee environment to managing a £370million building project of 600 apartments. Most of their experience has been within public sector social housing, however in their most recent role they managed the procurement process for 12 Hilton Hotel refurbishment projects ranging from £8m to £12m as well as key stakeholder management.

Just a few examples of recent achievements include… 
•    When having issues with contractors, they re-tendered the package with an alternative contractor which resulted in a significant cost savings of £40,000 for their client.
•    They ensured that sub-contractors reported to site daily which resulted in Phase Two of the development completing 70 days ahead of the projected deadline, yielding a cost-saving of £270,000.
•    They designed a sustainable procurement toolkit aimed at reducing the adverse impact of deliveries, noise pollution, and environmental harm on the local communities. The implementation of this toolkit by my team not only facilitated a seamless handover process but also solidified the company's standing which ensured they were selected for the Phase Three contract of the build, estimated at a value of £120,000.
•    They took the initiative in establishing a robust JIT (Just In Time) materials procurement strategy with supplier. This led to a remarkable 30% reduction in material wastage, resulting in an estimated saving of £55,000 on raw commodities for site.
