£16,000-£18,000 depending on level of experience
Role Profile
Cast UK are exclusively recruiting a Buying Assistant position for an established clothing retailer based in South Manchester. We have recruited numerous positions for this business over the past few years as the company has gone through an exciting period of change and growth, therefore this is an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a newly created position. Reporting into the Head of Buying, you will provide essential support to them by taking responsibility for the majority of the department's admin. As you become settled in the role, you will use your commercial mindset and interest in product to help to build ranges. This position will ideally suit someone with some experience in a similar role, i.e. a buying placement within a retail head office, or an individual with an interest in buying, looking to take the first step in their career. You will be joining a close-knit and dynamic team within a leading business that can offer further learning and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for the department's admin
- Competitor analysis
- Ad hoc administrative duties to support the buying team
- Helping to build commercial ranges
- Sample management
Required Skills & Experience
- Some experience in a similar role or an interest in / understanding of buying is essential
- A relevant fashion related degree would be advantageous
- Highly organised, able to prioritise workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Product driven
- Highly commercial
- Hardworking, enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Confident and outgoing, able to forge strong working relationships
Remuneration
£16,000-£18,000 depending on level of experience
