Role Profile
Our client is a growing discount supplier of food and non-food, based in West Yorkshire
Key Responsibilities
- Building and delivery of department strategy and range
- Selection and sourcing of a profitable product range
- Responsibility for delivery on margin, sales and availability across all sales channels - convenience, multiples and online
- Sourcing of supply base and overall responsibility for vendor management
- Management of junior team members
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial flair, with a background in discount food supply. You must be highly numerical and analytical, and experienced in supplier sourcing and have a full understanding of the needs of retailers
