Role Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving manufacturing business in the Bolton area as a Buyer, to cover a 9-12 month contract.

This is a fast-paced busy role working for a company that continues to experience significant growth and success.

Your Key Responsibilities as Interim Buyer will include:

• Running MRP and placing purchase orders with suppliers
• Expediting deliveries and negotiating lead times
• Resolving day to day supply issues to ensure component parts arrive in time
• Supporting the Purchasing Manager with day to day purchasing activities as required

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced purchasing role within manufacturing
• Good working knowledge of MRP and BOM
• Confidence and tenacity to negotiate with suppliers
• High attention to detail and good organisation skills
