We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join a growing procurement team within a fast-paced product-led business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their buying or procurement career who is keen to develop hands-on experience across packaging, print and bespoke products.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will support day-to-day procurement activities, supplier management and product setup, while gaining exposure to sourcing, costing and compliance within an international supply base.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and obtain quotes for plain, branded and bespoke packaging and printed products
- Support the sales team with pricing for new products, projects and tenders
- Maintain and update costing models and product data
- Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation and compliance records
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Organise samples and support pre- and post-production approvals
- Help manage product changes and internal workflows
- Support quality control checks and issue resolution
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
About You
- Some experience or a strong interest in buying, procurement or supply chain
- Exposure to packaging and/or print is highly desirable
- Confident working with suppliers, ideally including overseas manufacturers
- Strong Excel skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Interest in sustainability, product compliance and continuous improvement
