Role Profile
Our client, who is a growing business based in Greater Manchester are looking to recruit a Managing Director to steer their business through a period of change. Reporting into the Owner, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the strategic direction of the business centred around brands, products and e-commerce development.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execution of business strategy including short, medium and long term goals
Mentoring and leadership of a developing team incorporating succession planning to ensure future success of the business
Enhance profitability, maximise working capital and cashflow through decisive actions
Further develop the business' E-commerce proposition as market leaders
Build strategic relationships with key UK and international suppliers to enhance value and efficiency
Grow international presence
Promote a holistic people strategy that incorporates best practice in HR; development, coaching, performance management, appraisals, objectives and retention

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in senior leadership positions
Led, or key individual, within a sale and DD process
E-commerce and digital marketing experience highly desirable
Demonstrable record of improving working capital
Charismatic leader capable of developing team
Strategic thinker with proven ability to execute business plans
Identification and appraisal of new product and market opportunities
