Role Profile

Cast UK are excited to be working with one of the UK's leading fast fashion retailers to recruit a Merchandiser to join their expanding team based in Manchester. This is a newly created role due to growth where you will work alongside another Merchandiser on one of their fastest growing categories. You will be joining a lively team in a fast-paced yet fun working environment, playing a key part in driving this already hugely successful online retail business forward. Key Responsibilities

• Using data to optimise the sales volume and profitability
• Planning of budgets
• Controlling stock levels based on the WSSI
• Reviewing sales forecasts based on performance
• Analysing and monitoring best and worst sellers, making informed recommendations
• Recommending promotions and re buys
• Monitoring and maintaining buying margin and gross profit margins
• Ensuring that best sellers reach their full potential
• Providing the Head of Merchandising and buying team with data to enable informed decisions and planning
• Building and maintaining strong relationships between the merchandising function and all other business areas to ensure goals achieved
• Delivering key information at the right time, to the right people, presenting when necessary at high level meetings as requested

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

• It is essential that you are currently working as an established Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser for a retail head office
• E-commerce experience would be advantageous
• Strong trading and planning skills
• Reactive, with the ability to cope with the pressures of a fast-paced working environment
• Numerate with a good level of IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and WSSI experience
• Confident, enthusiastic and highly driven
