My client is a growing Homeware business, with an ever growing operation based in Knowsley.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establishing and maintaining high standards of customer service throughout the logistics team
  • Managing logistics budget and overseeing financial controls
  • Drive operational excellence
  • Working with customers and vendors to achieve best total value
  • Creating a positive work environment to improve staff productivity
  • Ensuring departments meet key performance indicator targets
  • Promoting the Company ethos and vision for service, quality and safety
  • Producing monthly reports on department performance
  • Participate in projects to deliver service and efficiency improvements

What we need from you:

  • The ability to work well under pressure and plan to ensure the best outcome for warehouse objectives.
  • Experience working in leadership position within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel.
  • A track record of influencing and encouraging positive team behaviour and growth within the team.
  • CPC Qualification is required
  • Ambition and strong work ethic with the desire to progress your career in Logistics.
  • Experience of ERP systems, SAP preferable but not essential
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience in warehouse design and optimisation
