Our client is a fast-paced, high-volume, food logistics business growing rapidly across Europe. The Role

  • As part of the Supply chain team, you will oversee and manage all quality issues on site in tandem with the 3PL.
  • Ensuring food products always meet the quality specifications and standards.
  • Take initiative through driving efficiencies and monitoring quality processes of warehouses/stores.
  • Organise audits, manage product complaints, complete customer reports.
  • Manage the product recall process, 3PL QA checks and compliance and follow up with corrective action.
  • Continuously work to develop and improve the quality system.
  • Provide food safety training and coaching to employees to increase awareness and knowledge regarding food safety, legal and quality risks.
  • Enhance quality and sustainability issues.
  • Report and analyse KPI's.

The Candidate

  • Food science degree or equivalent.
  • FIFST qualified & demonstrated knowledge of HACCP.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within food safety & quality, preferably with UK retailers and food services.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of stakeholders.
  • A natural leader and passionate about quality, able to be a beacon for the values of the company.

Remuneration
