Regional Food Quality Assurance Assistant

Are you passionate about food? I'm working with a fantastic business going through huge growth and I'm looking for someone from a Food background to join their team as a Regional Food Quality Assurance Assistant. My client is a final-mile grocery delivery company, bringing the best everyday essential grocery items to your front door and if successful you will play an important role visiting, auditing and guiding their distribution sites across the NW to meet and maintain the highest food safety standards. Enthusiasm is a must, as is flexibility with some evening work required. You will be required to visit distribution sites regularly so must have a Driving Licence.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete regular audits of food safety across regional sites,
• Write and action reports, addressing any concerns and boosting service and quality to the best possible standard,
• Regularly review customer complaints, working strategically to assess and address issues before products make the final mile trip to customers,
• Coordinate food safety and compliance training for operational teams within your region,

Remuneration

£28,000 plus benefits
