Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting our prestigious client, with the recruitment process of a Transport Manager for their fast paced operation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for a fleet of vehicles and drivers, ensuring the routes are planned and orders to be delivered in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of managing fleets of vehicles previously
- CPC qualified is essential
- IOSH qualification would be ideal
- Ability to drive KPIs within a Transport operation
- Experience of planning routes for drivers/vehicles
- Lead and motivate a transport function in pursuit of strong cost management
- Ability to drive best practice within the operation
