My client is a well-established Logistics firm that work globally, and they are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join the Operations team! You will work predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota'd basis.

Key Job Role:
- Plan all operational activities within your area of control in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure all collections and deliveries are planned on time to meet customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and internal teams.
- Manage driver issues and work with them to improve performance.
What are we looking for?
- Strong transport planning skills - attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, time management skills.
- Experience of systemised planning would be advantageous.
- A fantastic ability to communicate with both drivers and internal teams.
- Good level of empathy skills.
- Experience in a planning role.
