Role Profile:
Cast UK are supporting one of our clients with the recruitment process of a Warehouse Manager for their growing operation based in Birmingham. Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse and logistics operatives ensuring all daily and weekly department targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the inbound/outbound to the company- unloading from vehicles, quality checking, securing, stocking and labelling
- To check off all inbound purchase orders
- Prepare documentation where required
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and quality issues
- Manage and action forklift maintenance checks and make sure compliance with operative training levels
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes:
- Excellent team management skills
- Working to warehouse and logistics target
- Warehouse Management: 5 years
- Driving License
- Forklift Licence (Essential)
- First aid at work certification
