Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

£35000.00 - £38000.00 per annum Shift Allowance Benefits

Warehouse Shift Manager - £35,000 - £38,000 Shift Allowance Benefits - Sutton-in-Ashfield

Are you looking for a new role with an exciting and growing business? We are supporting a growing client in their recruitment of a Warehouse Shift Manager.

You'll work alongside a supportive Operations Manager who is keen to offer opportunities to develop. You will work a rotating shift pattern across 6- 2:30pm and 1:30 - 10pm, Monday to Friday.

So, what will be involved in the role?
As Shift Manager you'll be accountable for the team on shift, through management of Team Leaders. Ultimately you'll make sure that the team are working safely and effectively, and are hitting relevant KPI's.

With an eye on opportunities to influence positive change, you will support the Operations Manager with driving any CI initiatives across the warehouse, with projects ranging from process improvements to WMS.

Our client is a people-centric business and a key area of focus will be developing your Team Leaders, offering mentorship and guidance on how to develop their own skills for future progression.

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Warehouse and their general training and development of staff.

So… what's in it for you?
Historically the business has low staff turnover as is proud of the long service a number of their employees have. The business takes an active approach to keep its staff motivated, engaged and generally well looked after.

The team is well established and has promoted most of their management structure from within.

What are we looking for?
The client we are working with is relatively open to the type of businesses you've worked for previously, however you will need to have experience operating at Shift Manager level, with accountability for a reasonable headcount of colleagues and Team Leaders/ Supervisors.

An eye for continuous improvement would be advantageous, and it would be great if you have tangible examples of the initiatives you've been involved in throughout your career and how you drove change.

Experience using WMS and generally strong computer literacy is a requirement for the role.
