Role Title

Assistant E-commerce Manager

Role Profile

Our Client is a fast-growing clothing, beauty and accessories who are looking for an Assistant E-commerce Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for; Managing weekly publishing targets ensuring all products, product attributes and taxonomy are updated to the websites on a daily basis. You will support the VM team in the merchandising of all products to maximise sales and cross-sell/up-sell and site aesthetics, within brand guidelines across all devices. You will manage and maintaining the appearance, accuracy and standards on all pages across the sites. This role will work alongside the Creative/Buying & Merchandising/Marketing teams to ensure campaign process is aligned. In addition, you will work with the Marketing team to ensure products used on any channels are fully stocked & optimised. You will be responsible for preparing for all major and minor sale events, re-merchandising the site as required. You will work alongside the SEO team to optimise categories and search, whilst monitoring product sorting within categories and search results page. You will use market knowledge of upcoming trends whilst working closely with Creative/Buying & Merchandising/Marketing to ensure these trends come to life onsite. This role will work alongside the IT / UX teams to optimise browsing experience by using GA/BI reports to drive conversion & understand our customer profile. You will be responsible for mentoring of team and supporting appropriate training as well as day to day managing of the team.

Skills & Experience

The desired candidate needs to have a flexible approach, be a good communicator and be able to work under pressure. You must have the ability to work cross-functionally, be a team player and have attention to detail. You will be numerically strong, be able to communicate at all levels and be IT literate. It is essential that the successful candidate is highly organised and able to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines. Experience with Fredhopper, Magneto and Akeneo.
