Role Profile
Our client, who is a growing business, are looking to recruit a Demand Planning Analyst. This is a new role in the business to support an exciting period of growth & transition for the company. Your role will be varied and will span across E2E supply chain, focusing across demand planning, S&OP processes as well as logistics analysis including KPI dashboards, WMS reporting and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal use of the ordering template with a view of maximising direct extraction and upload from ERP systems
- Liaise with commercial teams to ensure a balanced use of historical demand, new trends and forward forecasting to ensure items ordered maintain appropriate stock levels to meet anticipated demand
- Generate PO's for suppliers with a view of improving Line Order Fill Rates whilst ensuring the achievement of budget stock targets
- Deliver an overall operational plan for volume, stockholding, and labour balancing service delivery with cost to serve
- Ensure data clarity for decision making on inbound and outbound volume requirements/capability
- Identify supply chain and stock holding trends adversely affecting the integrity of site service, capacity, and the potential impact on customers
- Complete control checks within all areas of the warehouse to verify operational performance and to identify / minimise risk
- Make an active and effective contribution to the implementation of the WMS system
- Ensure the administration of the warehouse management system consistently meets the operational & customer expectations
- Work with the warehousing team to drive service efficiencies
Key Skills
- Strong demand planning background, ideally in a business with manual processes and non-systemised S&OP
- E2E supply chain experience, across demand planning to warehouse/ logistics functions including intake, dispatch and labour resource planning
- WMS experience, and ideally experience having been involved in system implementations/ projects
- Exception reporting, with ability to translate & articulate data into meaningful change across Supply Chain/ Logistics
- Experience using Google Analytics, Power BI, Microsoft Excel
Remuneration
£35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
