Cast UK are looking to recruit an established Head of Supply Chain and Logistics for their Halifax based e-Commerce client. This is a small but highly successful business which has seen phenomenal growth in recent times, with further expansion planned for the future.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head of Supply Chain with an e-Commerce background to join a fantastic business in this newly created, key leadership role.

Key responsibilities for this Head of Supply Chain and Logistics role will include:

• Undertaking this senior leadership role for the business, assuming overarching responsibility for Supply Chain, Warehousing and Customer Service
• Developing and implementing the appropriate strategy for the E2E global Supply Chain, which includes a supplier base in the Far East and a globally located customer base
• Striving for excellence across Supply Chain and operations to ensure outstanding, best in class levels of customer service
• Improving forecasting / planning and optimizing inventory levels in order to reduce lead times from the Far East

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant experience within a fast-paced, high growth e-Commerce environment
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in a previous Head of Supply Chain or Operations role
• Proven experience managing Global Supply Chains, including Far East sourcing
• Vast expertise in end to end supply chain and operations, including demand planning, forecasting and inventory management
• Ability to operate both strategically and operationally as required

Our client is a fast growing e-Commerce business based in Yorkshire. The position will be based in Halifax with some opportunity to work remotely

Remuneration

£65,000 - £75,000
