Role Profile
This is a fantastic role to support a multi-channel retailer based in North London UK. You will be supporting an already existing logistics & supply chain department through some key projects. The successful candidate will have a passion for first in class customer service and help to provide a smooth working model in the end-to-end logistics function.
Responsibilities
- Manage all logistics costs challenging prices & taking a proactive approach to reducing costs.
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with factories & shippers to ensure a smooth process for delivery of product.
- Use data to inform your decision making & identify new ways of improvement.
- Negotiate Rates, Terms where required and review SLAs.
- Establish areas for improvement within the WMS and work alongside the team to support projects and implement change.
- Oversee 3PL operation ensure documentation & any other relevant information is available to them.
- Overseeing the regional DC, store, and Ecommerce warehouse.
- Take lead in stock and inventory organisation within the DC and Retail.
- Actively build strong relationships with both internal and external key stake holders within the business.
Requirements
- Ecommerce/Retail experience is desirable
- Commercially driven with an appetite to drive business improvements
- Confident decision maker with the ability to effectively prioritise, get stuff done and work autonomously
- Strong attention-to-detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) and liaise with all members of the business including Senior Management team.
- Strong IT and Analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of international trade
- Extensive Ecommerce expierence
- WMS and Ecommerce software knowledge
