Are you a Procurement Manager looking to start 2022 with a bang?

The business is growing rapidly and has doubled in size in the last 5 years - your role is to ensure continued growth and be a leader within the business.

So what will be involved in the role?

If you've worked as a Procurement Manager previously you will be familiar with the typical day to day responsibilities, but to specify just a couple of interesting points;

Ad hoc procurement projects including assisting R&D with New Product Development which will include sourcing of new suppliers

Proactive process improvement to make the procurement function more efficient

Day to day management of both indirect and direct procurement.

Managing existing relationships with suppliers on a global basis, currently about 25% of their suppliers are international, with the rest domestically based in the UK.

What are we looking for?

Experience procuring in heavy industry environments is preferred but not required. Given the nature of the product range, an appreciation and understanding of transporting bulky, heavy products would be valuable experience.


Outside of the usual skills you'd expect from a Procurement Manager including strong analytical skills, excellent communication with ability to influence at all levels and build relationships, a CIPS qualification or degree equivalent would be great.
