Role Profile
Our client, an established retail business, is looking to appoint a new Product Manager due to the expansion of the business. This will be to join their close-knit head office team based in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join a company as it looks to continue its successful path for growth. The role will be to lead the strategy, planning, and introduction of a product, providing insights, key differentiators and messages to the Marketing department. You would be responsible for guiding and developing the department in the growing business, across all channels; specialising in domestic appliances with specific product categories to be agreed at time of employment. This is a hands-on role where you will need to be happy to get stuck in and is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a thriving business.
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
- Experience in a Product and Commercial role focused on White Goods, SDA and Dishwashers is required
- Leadership skills, outgoing and confident - capable of working with many departments, including sales, research and development, marketing and logistics
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Good communicator, Approachable, Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude
- Precise with good attention to detail and organisation
- Analytical, good negotiator with the ability to stay calm
- Common business sense, marketing knowledge and the ability to handle detailed logistics
- Fluent or some basic language skills in Italian would be advantageous
