Role Profile
Cast UK are currently supporting a growing business in their recruitment of a Stock Controller, based at their site in Cheshire. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of stock & warehouse operatives and managing stock integrity throughout the operation. You will typically work Mon- Fri 07:30am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Supplier management
- Stock integrity, investigating any discrepancies or inaccuracies
- Confident management of a team of Stock Controllers
- Work closely with the purchasing team, forecasting supply and demand to optimise stock holding
- Dealing with purchase orders, invoices and despatch confirmation
- Review price changes and stock adjustments
- Reporting on relevant KPI's
Background/ Skills
Ideally you will be an experienced Stock Controller with a hands on attitude towards work. Experience working within an industrial sector would be beneficial but is not essential. You must have strong inter-personal skills, and be confident working collaboratively with other business functions including procurement/ purchasing.
