Role Profile

We are looking for a Transport Manager who will provide and manage a safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery and collection service for the Company and their Customers. You will manage a team of Drivers and Transport Coordinators to always ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure the efficient running of the transport department maximising results from each day
• Proactively develop the operation, people & processes developing a culture of continuous improvement so the business can meet future demands
• Be the champion for compliance, legislation, H&S ensuring this is always adhered to
• Participate in the development of the overall logistics strategy by inputting your own business improvement plans & decisions
• Fleet Management - ensure that vehicles remain on the road & compliant

Requirements:

• Transport/ Logistics experience in a fast-moving organisation
• CPC holder
• Strong numerical & literacy skills
• Up-to-date knowledge on compliance/ H&S relating to transport
• Good PC/Microsoft skills
• Able to be flexible to meet the demands of the business
• Managed large teams in a temp-controlled environment
• Driving License
