Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading business, in their recruitment of a Transport Shift Manager role, based in Wellingborough. You will work a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm on an any 5 from 7 basis.
Role Profile
- Reporting into a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for helping with the smooth running of the busy transport team.
- Maintain systems and procedures to ensure compliance.
- To ensure Transport is compliant with all aspects of health and safety legislation
- Manage the drivers to ensure all customer requirements and Legal requirements are achieved
- Drive engagement with a large number of drivers
- Fleet servicing and maintenance
- Managing KPI's, ensuring high company standards are maintained.
- Management responsibility for all drivers
Skills & Experience
You will be an experienced Transport professional, with a background working with blue-chip businesses and large fleets.
