Role Profile

Cast UK are looking to recruit a driven Account Manager for a market leading global manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK.

This business supplies into a number of high-profile blue-chip customers and has an excellent reputation for quality and technical expertise.

The position will suit an established sales professional with a proven record of growing and developing customer accounts.

Your key responsibilities as Account Manager will include:

• Maximise commercial opportunities with existing customers in order to grow accounts and achieve financial targets for customer spend / profitability
• Conduct regular customer visits to develop relationships, upsell products and services and generate enquiries for new products
• Act as main point of contact for customer queries and provide excellent customer service / technical advice
• Produce customer quotations and proactively follow up with customers to close sales
• Monitor customer orders to ensure timely delivery and service provision

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Mechanical Engineering background or 5 years' experience working in mechanical engineering environments
• Good technical knowledge with the ability to read engineering drawings
• Proven experience as an Account Manager, with a track record of growing and developing accounts
• Strong commercial acumen and excellent relationship skills
• Willingness to undertake local travel for regular customer visits
