Role Profile
A market leading Logistics business is looking to employ a Head of Facilities to look after the Facilities Management across the whole UK network. With a clear goal of implementing a network capital investment strategy to reduce energy consumptions and move closer to their Net Zero objectives. You will be responsible the leadership of the site service teams across the network. Design and deliver engineering solutions on all new Distribution Centres.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met on all work.
• Execute the Company's capital investment
• Reduce operating costs including energy management best practice
• Ensure all engineering and procurement projects are delivered on time
• Work collaboratively with the Engineering Solutions Manager and Site Services Managers to identify and implement all site projects and systems to deliver financial, environmental and energy management benefits
• Be the main point of contact for and manage all ongoing compliance requirements in regard to third party contractors/vendors/suppliers
• Identify fit for purpose design solutions for all new facilities incorporating latest technologies and sustainable solutions

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive proven experience and knowledge of facilities management at network level
• Proven ability in stakeholder management
• Degree level in relevant subject
• Relevant technical qualification/s
• Understanding of operational purpose engineering solutions
• Strong H&S knowledge
• A flexible approach to working hours and national travel
• Computer literate
• Proven experience of management and negotiation skills dealing with third parties/vendors/suppliers
• A team player and team builder
• Strong attention to detail
