Interim Operations Manager - 6 month contract

£400-£450 per day (Inside IR35)

Are you an Interim Operations professional who is experienced when it comes to creating and implementing a long-term distribution and warehousing strategy?

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Operations Manager to work across 2 Distribution Centres within the Midlands to improve the strategy within operations, warehousing and transport - to work on a 6 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a rapidly expanding team within a business that is currently experiencing extensive growth across the UK and Europe.

What will the role involve?

• Coordination of all outbound activities of the brands and sites in UK (transportation, order fulfillment)
• Assisting of all warehousing activities in UK in cooperation with local Warehouse Managers
• Form an operational logistics/order fulfillment community in UK
• Prepare integration of UK outbound activities into group function structure
• Setup KPI system for outbound processes in UK

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Deep knowledge of operations and warehousing processes within logistics/order fulfillment in general
• Ability to form a team out of diverse people from different business units
• High customer orientation
• Very good communication skills
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Immediate availability to interview and start would be advantageous
