Role Profile

Leading strategic sourcing and category management activities ranging from supplier management to strategic project support and program implementation with local supply base and supporting local Branch / Regional business activities

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with branch & sales to support new business quoting activity as required
• Review and negotiate supplier contracts, agreements and other terms and conditions
• Ensure complete follow through of all new project implementations
• Identifies opportunities for sourcing excellence and cost savings and drive through to implementation
• Develop best sourcing practices
• Identify and develop new sources in line with business needs
• Perform ISO type quality audits on current and new suppliers
• Participates in supplier meetings and prepares reports for visiting suppliers on sourcing activities
• Participates in weekly Global Sourcing meetings and prepares requested presentations

Skills & Experience

• Work experience within sourcing or supply chain role
• MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
